This is a Shiva temple located at Kadakadappai and is one of the 7 Sapta sthanam Shiva temples of Tanjavur belonging to the Tanjavur palace devasthanam.
Mulavar: Shri Vaidyanathar
Devi: Shri Balambika
There are 2 entrances and 2 mandaps. One to the mulavar shrine, and other to the devi’s shrine.
Koshtamurtis: Shri Dakshinamurti, Shri Lingotbhavar
Not much of the details are available about this temple. In the inner mandap we come across Shri Surya, Shri Shaneeshwar and Shri Bramha. Shri Shiva is on a yogapeetha. There is a sculpture of Shri Kaumari Devi. (Courtesy from Wikipedia) We will update once we visit the temple.
