Saptasthan Shiva temples of Thirunallur

We had mentioned in earlier blog about Saptasthanam Shiva temples in Tamilnadu. In that blog we mentioned about saptasthanam shiva temples of Thirunallur. In upcoming weeks we plan to give details of each of these temples. All these temples are located on the Kumbhakonam-Papanasam-Valangaiman area and are very close to Papanasam (Tanjore district). We have not been able to get the details of some of these temples. We hope to visit them as soon as we get an opportunity. The temples are

1) Shri Panchavateeshwarar at Tirunallur

2) Shri Pashupateeshwarar temple at Govindkudi

3) Shri Pashupateeshwarar at Aavuoor Kumbhakonam

4) Shri Sundareshwarar temple Maaligai Thidal

5) Shri Kailashnathar temple Mattiyan Thidal

6) Shri Ramalingaswami temple at Papanasam (Tanjore district)

7) Shri Palaivananathar at Thirupalaithurai
