An essential item in carry-on bag

Everybody has their own peculiar style of preparing carry-on bag for journey. After putting all essential items, depending on length of the journey and personal interest, everybody keeps an item for entertainment – an audio player and/or a book. In fact long journey is in a way an opportunity to fulfill these entertainment desires. If one has natural interest to entertain themselves by listening to or reading some spiritual content then it can be considered as a blessing.

Fortunate are those who are born in India, the land of Saints. Even more fortunate are those who are born in Maharashtra, where Shri Saibaba performed his leelas (divine sports). Even more fortunate are those who understand language of Marathi and real fortunate and blessed ones are those who have interest in reading or listening Sai Satcharit – a book containing divine stories of Shri Saibaba. They are well equipped to acquire the most precious knowledge on earth.

By reading or listening to stories of Shri Saibaba, one gets all that is required to become happy and content and achieve a long lasting peace. All doubts and fear vanish by putting faith in the discipline of repeatedly () reading these divine stories.

Company matters. To develop the habit of reading these stories the easiest way is to be in company of people who already have established for themselves a discipline of repeatedly reading these stories. The influence of such company is very beneficial and has a long lasting effect. However, to benefit from such company one has to curb the instincts of arguing and finding faults. Arguments end up in chaos and all involved in argument lose the peace of mind.

Sai Satcharit is not a usual book. It is a book that can transform life for the good. In fact it can be considered as literal incarnation of Shri Saibaba, Shri Saibaba himself in the form of a book. Elders are paid respect by offering them a high and comfortable seat. In the same way, after reading, Sai Satcharit should also be kept in good condition and at an appropriate place, usually by the side of idols of Gods.
